Danish Refrigeration Manufacturer Vestfrost Solutions to Create More Than 120 Jobs Through a HUF 5.6 Billion Investment in Csongrád

Vestfrost Solutions Expands Its Capacity in Csongrád, Strengthening Local Industry and Employment

We are pleased to share that Vestfrost Solutions Zrt. is launching a major investment in Csongrád that will create more than 120 jobs in the region. The project has received HUF 1.1 billion in government support.

Originally established in Denmark, Vestfrost is one of the world’s leading refrigeration equipment manufacturers, with nearly 60 years of manufacturing experience. The company employs approximately 2,600 people worldwide, and its products are available in more than 100 countries. Its Csongrád plant was established in 2010 and has since become a key facility within the group.

The investment, worth nearly EUR 14 million, includes the construction of a warehouse covering more than 5,000 square metres, the purchase of new machinery and the installation of a solar-energy system. As a result of the innovative developments, annual production capacity is expected to increase from 79,000 to 105,000 units, while the project will create 123 new jobs.

The expanded capacity will enable the production of higher-value-added, digitalised products and the introduction of intelligent solutions with remote-access capabilities.
