Turn your Hungarian investment into a stronger business case with government cash grants, VIP incentives and other public funding opportunities.

MAPI supports international and Hungarian companies throughout the entire incentive process—from initial eligibility assessment and project structuring to application, negotiation and implementation.

Investment Incentive Advisory in Hungary

Hungary offers a broad range of incentives for manufacturing, research and development, business service centres, energy-efficiency investments and other strategic projects.

The available support may include:

  • VIP Cash Grant awarded by individual government decision
  • tax allowances
  • research and development incentives
  • job creation and job retention support
  • training subsidies
  • energy-efficiency and sustainability programmes
  • EU-funded development programmes
  • preferential financing linked to investment projects

The applicable incentive, potential support intensity and application process depend on several factors, including the project location, investment volume, company size, eligible costs, sector and expected economic impact.

MAPI helps investors identify and secure the most suitable support package while keeping the project aligned with Hungarian and EU state-aid requirements.

How MAPI Supports Your Investment

Incentive Opportunity Assessment

We assess the project’s location, investment volume, planned activities, employment impact and eligible expenditure to identify potentially available incentives.

Project Structuring

We help structure the investment so that it meets the relevant incentive and state-aid conditions while remaining consistent with the company’s operational objectives.

Application and Negotiation Support

We prepare the required documentation and support the investor during discussions with the relevant Hungarian authorities and investment-promotion organisations.

Implementation and Compliance

Our work continues after the incentive decision. We assist with contractual requirements, reporting, project changes, payment requests and compliance throughout the implementation and maintenance periods.
